Crocheted flower earrings with pink and cream petals, beads, on a textured wooden surface. Soft lighting enhances the delicate design.

Create the cute Flora Drop flower earrings from this free crochet pattern that can be worn suspended from your existing post and hoop earrings or added to an earring finding set to create a new pair.

Why make the Flora Drop flower earrings from this free crochet pattern?

It's a great way to boost your jewellery collection at little cost and fantastic for using up thread or yarn scraps leftover from other yarncraft or embroidery projects.

The pattern is very versatile, allowing you to experiment with different length, colour and style options to create accessories to match your personal style and favourite outfits. You could even create extra drops to use as a pendant or bracelet charm for a matching jewellery set.

If you don't like reading patterns on blogs, there is also a pdf version available to purchase on Ravelry, with 20% launch discount until end of Sunday 2nd February (GMT/UK time).

Make it your own

Adjust your earring lengthwise by adding or subtracting any number of ch in the drop section of each piece.

Experiment with different weights, textures and colours of yarn.

Add it to other items or use other findings to create: a necklace, charm bracelet, keyring, bag charm etc.

You can add more or fewer contrast sections to your main section and make them varied lengths or all the same.

Remember that you’ll need to allow extra yarn for some changes.
