Add a touch of sophistication and class to a favourite outfit with these romantic lacy pieces, which can be worn as standalone accessories or attached as an elegant embellishment to the edge of a handmade or shop-bought garment, accessory or even home textiles or other trinkets.

Inspired by beautiful, vintage lace collars and cuffs. I’ve created a set that should work well in any weight or colour to suit the tastes of modern crocheters.

Make this because: The vintage style works just as well for modern outfits as for those with vintage style. It adds an elegant touch to lacklustre garments already in your wardrobe and is comfortable and easy to wear. You’ll feel you’ve doubled your wardrobe when every plain top and dress can be paired with this duo! The cuffs can even be worn inside or outside your sleeves.

Those with ecology or economy in mind will enjoy being able to disguise worn cuffs or stubborn make-up stains on the neckline, increasing the longevity of your favourite garments.

The pattern has multiple fit options or can be made with custom sizing for a perfect fit or to create a sew on edging for clothing or other textile items.

Sizes: S-M (L-XL, 2-3XL, 4-5XL) or to custom measurements to fit an individual or a specific garment. Designed with 1.25-5cm / 0.5-2” positive ease in mind.

Tension: 18 sts = 10cm x 10cm / 4” x 4” measured over flat section using 3.25 mm hook, after blocking.

Working method: The flat neck/wrist section is worked flat from bottom up The frill is worked flat along the bottom edge (foundation chain) of the flat neck/wrist section. Finally, button loops and buttons are added.
